Yes you read that right!! I am halfway to fully funded and have 20 days until I leave!! It’s hard to believe that in just 20 days I will be temporarily “trading” in my house, spending time with family and friends, and my “normal, day-to-day” life for a life changing 9 month missions trip with a group of young adults with the same goal of sharing the love of Jesus with the people we get the opportunity to meet!! I am definitely excited and looking forward to embarking on this new adventure, but at the same time I would be lying if I told you that I am not anxious and feeling sad about the fact that I have to say “see you later” to the people I love and care about most!! Despite this rollercoaster of emotions, I know that God will use this as an opportunity to grow, push me outside of my comfort zone, teach me valuable lessons I didn’t know I needed, and most importantly that He will be faithful through it all!! With this being said, I can not thank everyone that has supported me prayerfully and financially enough because without you all I would not have been able to make it this far! I am still in need of financial support and have about $1,000 left to raise until my next fundraising deadline on September 8th.
