Woah! It’s so hard to believe that I have been living in Gainesville, GA for a whole month and that Training Camp is finally over!
My 4 weeks of Training Camp consisted of:
– Porta potties
– Tents
– Deflating sleeping pad
– hose water
– Bucket showers
– Dirt
– Shipping container showers
– Mosquitoes, Spiders, & Fire ants
Going into training camp I didn’t really expect all these things & honestly at first complained about a lot of these things lol! However, looking back as training camp is coming to a close, I have seen so much growth in myself & by the grace of God, He has turned my mindset of complaining to a heart of gratefulness!!
A little backstory on why I named this blog post “grow.” is that during the first and second week of training camp, one of my teammates made bracelets for every person on the squad with a meaningful word on it. The word that I got was grow. During these four weeks, I did not only grow by pushing myself out of my comfort zone, I also grew in my faith and confidence!
Some things I’m thankful & grateful for:
– family & friends who continually support me financially & through prayer!!
– a loving & caring team that is there for me when I need them!!
– a kitchen & serve team that took care of me with dietary restrictions during Training Camp!!
– & so so much more!!
Also, next stop North Carolina!!
Blessings,
Hope 🙂
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen

I was good with all until the fire ants! What a blessed 4 weeks-thank you for sharing it with us. We can’t become what we were meant to be by remaining comfortable where we are. Watch out NC 😉
You are an amazing young lady. Going from a shy person to a beautiful confident force. I will keep praying for you and your whole team. God bless and god speed!
