Wow!! What a week this has been! If you would have asked me a week ago coming into training camp, I would have told you that I expected it to be easier than it actually is! This week God has totally crushed my expectations, but He also exceeded them! It has been one of the hardest and most exhausting weeks of my life both physically and mentally. Despite this week being hard and exhausting, it has definitely been the most powerful and rewarding week. God has shown Himself in countless ways and is worthy of my thankfulness and praise. An important lesson God has taught me is that He doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called. Being completely honest with you, coming into this week I felt overwhelmingly anxious and unequipped for this journey! Ever since I have stepped foot on this base, God has blessed me with a wave of overwhelming peace and immense patience. He has also taught me this week to surrender it all: all my fears, all my anxieties, all my hurts, all my doubts, all my relationships, all my time, etc. Surrendering can be scary at times, but it is so worth it! Thirdly, He has also taught me that He is worthy of all my worship and gratitude, even on days those are the last things I want to do! A song we have sang during worship this week is called Worthy of it All by David Bremerton and Onething which part of it states:

You are worthy of it all

You are worthy of it all

For from You are all things

And to You are all things

You deserve the glory

Some things I’m grateful for this week:

- a squad that has the desire to love and serve God

- my team leader, Anna, who is a gem; she not only cares about my team, but      also for the whole squad

- everyone who has supported me financially and through prayer

-sunrises & sunsets

- a dry tent with all this rain!

- a warm shower this morning (even if it was in a literal shipping container lol)

- & so much more!!

Blessings,

Hope :)
